So do they swap the cables about air to each household or splice the FTTP cable onto the present cable from the road to each house. Absolutely that could materially degrade the speed. Wouldn't trouble my father as he's pleased with his 80mb but can see quite a few wanting faster.From what I have seen they may have remaining the copper cable set up
